My tasks and responsibilities consist of project management (budgeting and financial performance management, resource and job execution planning, coaching, supervising and review of work, coordination with other PwC departments/teams, acting as a main contact person with my clients) as well as solving issues related to financial accounting (Dutch GAAP, IFRS) and auditing. I also act as a performance coach and a Registeraccountant (Dutch CPA) internship supervisor for less experienced colleagues.

My tasks and responsibilities consist of project management (budgeting and financial performance management, resource planning, job execution planning, coaching, supervising and review of work, coordination with other PwC departments/teams, acting as a main contact person with my client), coaching and review of work, auditing more complex financial statements line items (based on different accounting principles) and assessing design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.

My work as an associate in assurance mainly consisted of the following activities: - Auditing various financial statements line items, based on different accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP). - Assessing design and operating effectiveness of our clients' internal controls, based on COSO framework and following ISA and PCAOB auditing standards.

Writing MSc thesis on audit quality among the Big 4 auditors during the 2003 – 2007 economic growth period and from the late 2000s recession.

Translating hotel descriptions from English to Slovenian language for a reputable hotel booking company.

The first year of my assurance career is mainly remembered of performing the following tasks: - Auditing various financial statements line items, based on different accounting principles (IFRS, Slovenian Accounting Standards) of small and medium-sized Slovenian companies. - Assessing design and operating effectiveness of our clients' internal controls.

During the International Executive Master of Auditing, I followed courses oriented towards auditing and international audit practice, financial and management accounitng, corporate governance and related fields, which strengthened my knowledge in this profession.

During the program, I followed courses ranging from fields of financial and management accounting, assurance, corporate governance, risk management, sustainability and ethics.

Last year of my BSc studies at University of Ljubljana I spent as an exchange student at University of Amsterdam Business School. After successfully finalized academic year, I returned back to Ljubljana and finalized my BSc studies with BSc thesis.

I graduated from BSc in business economics with a specialisation in accounting and auditing. During the BSc program, I followed several accounting, economics, business and finance courses.
