Global Metal Commodity Manager Continuous seek of supply base optimization by screening the market to identify potential partners to work with, that essentially could fill internal gaps. In parallel continuous monitoring of existing supply base pursuing procurement excellence: Encouraging suppliers to work under customer contractual frame. Including Metal market fluctuation agreements. Aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.

Responsible for supplier nominations for prototype and production parts - aligned with ISC strategy and Program team requirements. Conduct negotiations with suppliers. Visit suppliers as necessary to ensure that they maintain their contractual obligations. Ability to proactively identify and implement cost-saving proposals in order to meet company objectives. mindset to merge procurement and logistics concept. Responsible to plan and execute purchase orders to support the production ramp up.

The only buyer assigned for the specific production plant. In charge of innumerous acquisitions either indirect or direct material. Driven by cost reduction targets set by the plant and the headquarters. Included in the supply chain process, taking over logistics issues with the suppliers upon escalation. Proactive, detail oriented and strong team player. A challenging role that demands strong skills. Flexibility and professionalism in dealing with suppliers and internal customers among others.
