As Professional Support Lawyer within the Dispute Resolution team, I assist the team on complex multijurisdictional disputes including LCIA, DIS and ICC arbitrations. I have assisted the team in its representation of governments, multinationals, financial institutions and banks. I am an active member of the South African Market Awareness Team, performing research for the team and providing feedback where necessary. I have worked with the Business Development Manager who heads this team.

The firm utilised my strong networking skills and enabled me to build contacts with clients and business relations. I was actively involved in various insolvencies and negotiations, and I assisted the firm in many client consultations as well as on related matters.

Drafting of contracts on behalf of corporate clients. Instituting and defending legal action on behalf of corporate clients. Taking instructions and managing the legal claims of both national and international Insurance Companies. Maintaining existing relationships and developing client base: - Managing the files of existing corporate and individual clients, including the drafting of regular progress reports and holding of consultations; formal and informal networking.
