Responsible for technical evaluation and selection of all offshore marine vessels. rigs and barges for compliance with ZADCO requirements and the established Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) marine standards. Provide technical advice and marine support to projects managers and sites during offshore projects and marine operations.

Managed the whole Marine and Logistics Operations of Energy Coal de Venezuela Transshipment Terminal. The Transshipment Area is an open sea transshipment Terminal. The terminal is the cargo transfer facility to export Green Petroleum Coke for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Complex "General Jose Antonio Anzoátegui".

Marine and logistics consultancy for offshore operation

Managed marine logistics section with regards to strategy, planning, contracting and execution of all maritime based operations and services in support of Company Users Departments. Managed marine contracts providing both essential and fundamental support to the production activities of 14 million barrels per year as well as drilling activities at a cost of Dollars 30MM per year. Prepared and updated the Company's marine operations procedures. Coordinated and approved all rig-move operations.

Planned, coordinated and supervised marine operations for the Company, securing a reduction of risks, and guaranteeing an increase in the level and efficiency of services rendered by the Contractors working for the Company. Provided logistic, planning and execution services for the movements of drilling barges. Inspected vessels under permanent contracting, as well as those vessels hired specifically for projects.

Provided pilotage services to tankers loading at the two single buoy moorings at Brunei Terminal. Terminal representative during loading operation and for preparation of all cargo documentation for the sale of oil. Provided pilotage services to LNG carriers loading at the offshore berth. On-board liaison during loading operations and the BLNG representative on-board, responsible for cargo calculations and preparation of all cargo documentation for the sale of gas.. Conducted rigmoves.

Co-ordinated Marine Operations within SVSA in accordance with the Marine Policy and Operations Procedures, undertaking inspections of Marine Equipment in accordance with SVSA Marine Standards and Venezuelan Norms, the training of, and verifying the competency of Contractor Marine staff, providing a safe marine environment, and efficient operations support to all SVSA User Departments.
