I started developing drinking water projects, 15 kms of potable water network renovation in the city of Iquique. Then, I worked in the design of residual waters network. My participation in those projects involved, developing the construction plans, making the construction of the projected network possible, verification of every detail in the construction space, collaborating with the contratists and also, managing the paper work with the construction permission, etc.

I did my intership in the Engineery Department. During this time a did an evaluation of different alternatives of solution in an hydraulic channel constructed with no enough capacity. There were made two mathematics simulations in OpenFOAM: first in the current situation and second, implementing one of the solution proposed

Project: “Biopurification of indoor pollution” – I Phase I devolped my thesis (“Fluid-Dynamic Analysis of a Biofilter”) in this investigation proyect. This study consisted in using the CFD knowledge to develop an analysis of an biofilter prototype. The thesis involved an OpenFOAM simulation of air flux through porous media.
