La Rate Blanche: The Universal Fairytale
I am the creator of The Universal Fairytale Project based on the work of Henri Pourrat in the 19th century. My project is to: adapt this fairy tale for more than 40 languages and cultures; create theatre and video to accompany storytellers as they present this tale; print handcrafted editions via 3 micro-economies which help orphans support and educate themselves in latin america, africa and india; an open source database where others can adapt the tale for themselves with their own history .
