Research superpolish surfaces in metals, crystals, optical glasses, and many other materials.Travel to other vendors to evaluate manufacturing problems for projects within NASA. Consulted for a few companies locally in the fabrication and testing of optical componets. Setup processesand trained their employees. Manufactured and tested optical componets for these companies. Responsible for setup of a precescion optical fabrication and metrology area at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. Worked with Nasa engineers and scientist on fabrication and metrology issues to resolve problems. Evaluated and implemented new process and techniques for th manufacturing of high precision optical equipment and components
