After completing my University of Pretoria qualification and development program in Krones Southern Africa, I applied for a promotion as a Life Cycle Services Project manager. I was awarded with a position and shortly entrusted with larger customer accounts throughout Southern Africa to support.

Based on my development and performance I was added the tasks and responsibilities of Project Planner to my previous role at KSA along with further responsibilities into the LCS Admin function and education of PM’s. During this time I have been sent to Germany for further training into advanced Project Planner and training of new colleagues on Project Planner.

In this role I administered all service functions of New Machine- and LCS project managers as required. Coordinating and assisting important functions of new installation projects, upgrades and customer service interventions. I was tasked to educate project managers for all relevant SAP transactions, reclamation system and project dashboard control training for all new PMs as well as experienced project managers. During this time frame I was sent to Germany for specialized project planning training.

I was employed as a buyer to purchase all stock and non-stock items as required. I was tasked to improve the communication between the Warehouse and Sales coordinators to expedite shutdown spares and express orders and reach customer shutdown targets. During the last year in this role I was entrusted with the startup of a new company venture - sourcing of local materials and local manufacturing of international standard parts to increase profit margins and decrease turnaround times of materials

I was employed in a security company to manage all items required to complete mechanical and electrical installations of security systems. I was tasked to review and improve the warehouse stock and turnaround times of available materials to meet service requirements. My additional responsibilities, just to name a few, varied from purchasing of steel materials, cabling, motors etc and ensuring that the turnaround of materials was kept at an optimum level

I originally started at the company as an intern to observe how an international firm on the glass industry functions. During my internship I was offered a position as a Buyer of PPE and general stock items. Towards the end of my employment, I had been developed to purchase raw materials (dolomite, gas etc), manage the general salvage yard, tendering of old equipment, attending plant meetings etc.
