Über mich

I 'love' to use finance to help people. Currently, we are trying to change the way mortgage advice is provided in Germany from the presumption that the client is a financial expert, to one where the client needs advice based on financial insight. Why? Because a home can be a cornerstone, not just of a happy home life but also of financial safety. This safety requires a sensible mortgage based on advice that can be easily understood and is grounded in financial science. My past: I have been blessed with the opportunity to contribute to solving great problems: Eg. I headed the World Bank's advisory to central banks. and the world's second largest pension fund. We trained thousands of people to manage trillions of public money better. Before I led a team from the IMF and World Bank to create a system to help over 1/3 of all countries to manage their public debt. I am especially proud I could help devise IMF systems to predict economic crises and provide advice to prevent them.
