Thermal Analysis of Deployable Membranes for Space Applications The master thesis was carried out as part of the DLR-internal project Gossamer-1 (sun sail mission) and within the scope of two ESA projects, which investigate membrane structures as drag-sails for faster de-orbiting of satellites.

- Development, design and construction of a test chamber for the qualification regarding fire safety of materials for the use in manned space flight (according to NASA, ECSS and ISO standards) - Construction of a transfer device for compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen and fuel gases

- Use of VBA to program a tool to update daily the production list of CFK components - Update of internal flow charts
