Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the Capital Calculation Kernel - part of the Lloyd's Internal Model which was developed to meet Solvency II requirements. Further responsibilities include line management as well as running and advising on projects related to high performance computing and computational modelling within the organisation.

Responsible for the design and implementation of the software architecture for the Capital Calculation Kernel of the Lloyd's Internal Model which is being developed to meet Solvency II requirements. Challenges include dealing with large, complex multidimensional datasets, distributing the model across a grid, interfacing with other "satellite models" and optimising the implementation while at the same time keeping it understandable by risk modellers and actuaries.
