Currently overseeing the Transition of LOGCAP contract in Northern Afghanistan. Responsible for Environmental, Solid Waste and Vector Control Departments on 63 US Military Bases.

Oversee Environmental operations and compliance for Contengency Locations in Northern Iraq.

With Kellogg Brown & Root my initial assignment was assisting in the day-to-day operation of a Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSA). Other duties include Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste pickups, assisting KBR Departments and the USG with proper waste management guidelines, spill response, inspections and incident reporting. I also preformed ER duties for Hazardous Material spills and Blood borne incidents.

As General Manager at Perma-Fix of Orlando I had full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the facility including managing a safe and profitable facility, analyzing financial reports, developing and meeting budgets, and working closely with Sales, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and Accounting Management. Initiatives and accomplishments included developing a uniform pricing matrix for our National Sales Team. I was also responsible for up to 70 employees working in seven states.

I started this company to assist Underground Storage Tank (UST) owners with new mandatory upgrade requirements within the State of Texas. Initial upgrade required identifying and marking all UST’s on owner’s properties. In a period of one-year Waechter Environmental completed this project for over 4,000 facilities within the State. This included over 12,000 tanks. Top customers acquired included Ultra-Mar Diamond Shamrock, Sam’s Club Gas (Wal-Mart), Motiva Services (Texaco), Pilot Stopping Centers.

I was responsible for sales and environmental related services offered by this company, including but not limited to lab pack services, industrial waste disposal and emergency response. I was completing 95% of all sales calls to a partially existing client base. I also secured all required permits to operate under RCRA, Florida DEP, and DOT requirements. During my time with Clean Fuels of Florida I helped to more than double the company’s revenues while increasing employment by only one person.

A key accomplishment with this company was the establishment of a Labpack consolidation program that serviced over ten facilities in six States. I also assumed responsibility for waste streams that required special attention or handling such as Cyanides, Sulfides, PIH materials, compressed gas cylinders and Labpacks. I developed and initiated all start up procedures, working standards, health and safety plans, spill controls and contingency plans. This program required extremely close attention to detail.
