Christian Diedrich

Christian was CFO and member of the management board (Vorstand) of GfK. In this capacity, he was responsible for GfK's financial strategy and operations and the successful transformation of the Finance organization. His responsibilities included Accounting, Planning and Controlling, Financial Systems, Corporate Development (M&A), Treasury, Tax, Audit, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, HR, and Real Estate and Facility Operations.

VP IBM International Corporate Development, located in Shanghai, China. Responsible for developing and executing IBM’s strategy on international Mergers & Acquisitions and to support and advise IBM’s senior international leadership team on driving growth through inorganic investment opportunities, alternative structures, and new and repeatable business models. Christian served as a member of the supervisory boards of IBM Deutschland GmbH and IBM Management und Business Support GmbH.

Location Zurich. Responsible for IBM's financial operations, strategies, management, and controls in Northeast Europe. His responsibilities included Accounting, Planning and Controlling, Pricing, Treasury, Tax, Controls, Incentive & Commission, and Pensions. In this role Christian was also a member of IBM’s Integration & Values Team (I&VT). Since 2011 he leads the I&VT Global Enablement Team for Slovakia to support IBM Slovakia on its growth and development strategy.

Responsible for Finance, Procurement, Fulfillment, Central Services. Key contributor to several large transformational projects. While being CFO of IBM Germany, Christian was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IBM Germany Pension Fund (IBM Deutschland Pensionskasse VVag) and Chairman of the Administrative Board IBM Germany Support Fund (IBM Deutschland Unterstuetzungskasse GmbH).
