Worldwide responsibility for the global services desk and on-site support services. Leading the global multi language First-Level organization in the zones APAC, EMEA and AMERICAS. Responsible for ~ 100 On-Site Support Agents serving approximately 23.000 end user in more than 100 countries. Driving strategies for implementation of worldwide unique ITSM processes in order to increase the end user and customer satisfaction. Global rollout of standardized hard – and software, unique tool sets and processes.

Overall responsibility for the operation of 7 European data center supporting ~16.000 employees at Linde, STILL, Fenwick and OM. Leading an international team with 5 direct reports and 60 IT specialists in France, UK, Italy and Germany. Responsibility for the by history grown complex operation environment and IT footprint in the areas backup, storage, operating systems, database systems, virtualization, messaging & collaboration, SAP Basis and Non-SAP applications.

Responsibility for the operation of ~70 SAP instances supporting ~5000 user at KION Group. Led a team of 8 employees in Hamburg and Aschaffenburg providing services in the areas of SAP operation, performance tuning, user-authorizations and batch job operations. Coordination of all European SAP activities including release change projects. Provisioning of the capacity and landscape planning ensuring performance capabilities and cost savings.

Responsible Project Manager for the outsourcing of all KION SAP Systems to an external Provider. Supported the supplier selection, due diligence and contracting. Defined the scope and negotiated the Statement of Work (SOW). Led the international project team of 10 internal and 5 external employees. Moved ~90 SAP instances from different locations across Europe from Windows to a UNIX platform with a tight project plan of 9 month. Retired about 70 server by consolidation into a high performing 4-node cluste
