I am the Head of R&D (Hardware) of the Product Development Team (~25 direct reports) for both Industrial and Medical Power Supplies. I am also in charge of new technologies for switch mode power supplies. Location: Teningen, close to Freiburg im Breisgau.

Team lead of the product development team for industrial power supplies (12+ direct reports). Soft transition from principle engineer to team lead for product development. The system engineering for power supply families & parts of the principle engieneering will remain within my responsibilities.

Basic development for switch mode power supplies (power train, control (MCU, FPGA), heat management), concept finding and modular approach, responsible for introduction of new technologies (e.g. SiC & GaN semiconductors, new power conversion technologies) training of colleagues regarding simulation and calculation tools and new technologies, finding concepts for power supply systems

Basic development and system design for a new series of DIN rail power supplies. Key aspects: market innovation, material costs, modularity, long-term stability, ruggedness Performing of marked studies regarding solar panels, deriving of concepts for new transformerless PV inverters, basic development for peripheral functions like GFDI.

Development of switch mode power supplies according to customer specification for telecom, medical, industry and office automation applications; concept finding, cost and time evaluation for quotation; circuitry optimization; RFI suppression and approval according to relevant industry standards; leading the project to mass production

Basic research for both energy management and safety concept for so called "electronic door actuator" of A380.
