Led cutting-edge technology innovation projects (defining strategic and technical roadmaps, managing partners and stakeholders, addressing financial, legal, social and organizational aspects). Latest achievement: Steered establishing a new deep learning (DL) ecosystem, developing a new DL-based product based on the ecosystem within 18 months.

Led the definition of the digitization and automation concept contributing to the award of a nationwide European tolling system. Defined and advised on software architectures in 4+ public tenders of international tolling and traffic systems. Steered the conceptualization and implementation of a multi-dimensional cost model to enable continuous cost transparency, agile cost analysis and bid-relevant system design decisions.

Managed strategic programs for the Austrian space research landscape (budget ~ 8 million EUR / year). Delegate at the EC for Copernicus - the European Earth Observation (EO) program (total budget 4.3 billion EUR from 2014 to 2020). Led the development of national initiatives to utilize Copernicus economically, scientifically and strategically. Initiated a national Copernicus data distribution system and an EO hackathon which resulted in positive press coverage and served as a role model across Europe.

Led research projects on automation, interoperability and process mining resulting in more than 45 publications. Taught Masters and PhD students on Innovation and Business Process Management. Supervised Bachelor, Masters and PhD theses.

Conceptualized and developed the invoicing infrastructure for a startup in the B2B messaging domain. Migrated the diverse enterprise architecture tool landscape of a local healthcare provider onto one common enterprise architecture platform (improve and adjust business processes, standardize models, develop tools, etc.).

Shaped and successfully finished PhD thesis. Drove research and development in two domains: intelligent automation of electronic data interchange, improvement of interoperability through standardization (UN/CEFACT's Core Components approach). Guided high-tech clients in the domain of safety-relevant communication systems as subject-matter expert on reliable data exchange.

Led the prototype development for intelligent data access in collaborative environments for supporting sales activities based on the healthcare domain (IBM Lotus Sametime, IBM DB2 pureXML, HL7 CDA, etc.).

Supported sales activities and client acquisition in the healthcare, insurance and banking domain through providing in-depth expertise for storing data, developing prototypes, extending existing products and creating training material (IBM DB2 pureXML, IBM Data Power, Service-oriented Architectures, HL7 CDA, ACORD, etc.).

Five internships as Software Engineer for IBM Business Consulting Services.

Basic training and afterwards deployed as Software Engineer.

Four internships at local small- and medium sized consulting firms.
