Writing Wireshark dissector plugin for new detector protocol and program interfacing with kernel driver.

I was writing my Bachelor's thesis in cooperation with sysmocom. My task there was porting the SIMtrace board (http://bb.osmocom.org/trac/wiki/SIMtrace) from the old AT91SAM7 microcontroller to the newer AT91SAM3S and implement a MitM functionality.

Linux Kernel driver Programming

I wrote my thesis on kernel driver development and the driver's software architecture. The programming language was C.

Programming in C: Developed a kernel module abstracting network packet structures like skbuff, pcap, etc.; tested performance using the IXIA testsuite to determine the influence of this implementation - Programming in Java: Developed a bundle: task manager and scheduler based on the Quartz framework, wrote JUnit tests - Network protocol analysis: Wrote dissectors in C using Wireshark output as base - Administration: OS installation, worked with Linux and console, bash, programmed a macro for OOWriter, etc
