Managing a team of project manager within the R&D department human-machine-interface (HMI). In charge of multi project planning and controlling with regular reporting of development cost, product costs and project schedules to Vice President (VP) of R&D. Supporting project managers in critical situations, handling escalations, harmonising project management methods and improving internal processes for development, logistics and manufacturing of all HMI products (turnover of >200M€).

Establishing a project and product management organization within the business unit (BU). Managing product changes, innovation processes as well as manufacturing related improvements by steady focus on business strategy. Jointly responsible for product designs, costs, quality, product manufacturing and testing as well as certifications. Definition and monitoring of products’ financial figures (margin sales & contribution price) as well as marketing and sales related information. Reporting to BU management.

Managing cross-functional project teams on a high-end value mission project (>10 Mil €) for product brand labelling and new product development. Project scheduling, budgeting and controlling. Keeping the project on track, solving troubles, reporting to international stakeholders (USA, Japan and France) and B&R’s top management.

Product development and process improvements (development, department organisation and quality processes) for BU management: • Defining and establishing quality gates as well as stage gates for developments • Introducing common documentation structure for projects and products

Defining product requirements with customers and sales. Product development of customized visualization units for machine builders. Coordination of small project teams, up to 7 people. Responsibility for mechanical and electrical design.
