o Provide individual and group therapy services to the offender population within the Maximum Security Unit (AD-SEG/IMU) (up to 144 offenders), many of whom are categorized as Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI). o Crisis Negotiation and De-escalation – Suicide threats or violent actions o Training staff for Negotiation Skills, Communication and Critical Incident Management

o Generate/monitor/maintain the center (Strassburg CDC & Wetzel CDC) budget to include issues such as labor costs, maintenance, purchasing, income and Govt. reimbursements. o Supervise employees (approx. 25 - Full-time, part-time and flexible) to ensure standards for program operation are met on all levels within the facility.

o Provide, under supervision of licensed Psychologist, individual and group therapy services for members in the Military community for a wide range of issues (PSTD, Substance Abuse, Depression, and Personality Disorders). o Develop assessments and treatment models for specific clients. o Observe the practice of therapy and learn, through practical use, the interaction formats most conducive to positive growth.

o Provide for continuation of the curriculum in the absence of assigned class teachers. o Model positive teacher/student interaction. o Maintain accountability of and responsibility for assigned students during the course of the school day.

o Monitor and ensure safety of children enrolled in the Spangdahlem School Age Program o Develop programs and activities to stimulate growth and progress in the physical and mental arenas. o Work with special needs children, formulating programs relating to gross and fine motor control, life skills and behavioral therapy.
