Legal Counsel within the ECB's Directorate General of Legal Services (DG/L). Responsibilities: Supporting the in-house legal team on staff and HR issues relating to the ECB’s employment law framework.

Legal drafting, translating and English language editing for a team of 16 lawyers and 6 partners in the International Tax Practice. Included: client memorandums, summary counsels, legislation summaries, correspondence with the French tax authorities. Occasional freelance translations for the firm after leaving, for numerous other practice areas.

Translation, review and drafting of English online legal content; particularly the maintenance of 34 specific and detailed country legal guides (in English and in French), covering issues for the benefit of large French and international companies seconding staff abroad. Additional: tasks Responding to client queries through the company's interactive forum, assisting at general meetings/thematic seminars, assistance with marketing, customer service and external communication projects.

Helping European Claims Managers implement and monitor policies and procedures across different claims lines (in 13 European countries), including data management of claims statistics, helping to create an audit assessment template, help with the drafting of a EU policy and procedures guidebook.

Seasonal French-speaking call-handler for European breakdown service.

Currently studying for 2 year LPC course (part-time distance-learning).
