Supported Rolls-Royce Electrical in system verification activities for an electric engine through HIL platform development. Defined Simulink models to validate system requirements. Authored detailed test plans and procedures to standardise HIL verification processes. Reviewed and interpreted test requirements to configure test benches. Executed systematic pre- and post-test verification of HIL bench configurations, logging anomalies and ensuring data integrity across all verification runs.

Advised Rolls-Royce Electrical on operational aspects of electric aircraft engines to support engine control design. Implemented and verified system requirements. Developed comprehensive Simulink models for system components to support verification and validation. Executed system behaviour simulations and provided guidance on verification processes. Qualified custom Simulink library blocks using the MATLAB Qualification Kit, including development and documentation of the qualification methodology.

Supported CARIAD in validating functional safety systems of an electric powertrain for automotive applications under ISO 26262. Developed automated test scripts in Python and conducted formal software acceptance tests. Verified test integrity using the system simulator. Analysed and debugged software during test execution.

Developed software systems for functional safety in the BMW i20 concept vehicle, implementing safety methods in C++ based on BMW requirements. Analysed technical problems and implemented solutions. Tested and extended software programmes to verify functionality and performance.

Supported Rolls-Royce in the development and certification of the control system for the Pearl 15 aircraft engine under a V-model development process. Developed and executed tests for safety-critical software. Analysed and debugged software issues during formal verification test operations. Coordinated test campaigns and processed error tickets during formal verification, ensuring system quality prior to delivery to V&V boards and customers.

Planned and executed acceptance, back-to-back, new product introduction and cell correlation engine tests, including systematic pre- and post-test inspection of performance parameters, sensor data, and test equipment across the civil and military programmes, in accordance with ASME and GE best practices. Conducted statistical analysis of performance parameters and measurement systems to verify historical acceptance performance levels in production engines.
