This entry includes overlapping employee-contractor periods and self-employment periods. The depths of experience I've gained through these multiple situations has been invaluable. Favorite software options are MIP and Peachtree (for nonprofits) and Dynamics (for profits). A primary focus has been change process support, within which I've been privileged to support many organizations including Estates in Transition, 2Grrls, Tiger Oak, BGA, MN-NARAL, GAI, MTHC, MCBW & MAJ and others earlier.

Nauen Mobile Accounting provides out-source accounting services for small for-profit and nonprofit entities using Peachtree and Quickbooks. Work involves software optimization, month-end close, year-end activities, budgeting, forecasting and audit preparation.

Nonprofit engaged in Justice System improvememts. Merged the HR and accounting functions Assisted with program-related audits and reviews. All HR functions. Also payroll processing, day-to-day accounting, month-end close, budget maintenance and audit support. Federal & State grant involvement. Accounting software was MIP, payroll system was Paychex (in-house software based).

Originally (in earlier period) was to major in Computer Science. Have continued to maintain an interest in computer technologies, then and since.
