FX Hedging • Setting up of pre-financing schemes, clearing and barter deals • Opening and management of two Continental Grain liaison offices • Extensive travel in order to ensure execution of the above responsibilities

Senior Merchandiser - Main Responsibilities: • Trading and marketing in US and EEC of wheat, corn and soybeans • Position taking and hedging on Chicago Board of Trade spot and futures markets Assistant to Deputy General Manager - Main Responsibilities: • Purchase and execution of various commodities including general foodstuff, metals, ferro alloys, cement, coal, crude oil, sugar, salt and rice • Management of a team responsible for the traffic and execution of these operations
