Teaching English to Middle and High School students. Preparing students to the baccalaureate.

In the French section of the school, I am in charge of Years 1 and 2 for Music, PE and Ethics, as well as Years 3 and 4 for Support (French, Mathematics).

Over the years, I have been delivering translations (mostly EN-FR but sometimes FR-EN) to various companies. The fields have covered education, empowerment and awareness, administration, architecture, industry (users' guides in particular), economy (among which forestry and Highly Indebted Countries Initiative), beauty and health care, law (contracts), history, etc.

Preparing students for the baccalaureate / assessing the baccalaureate in English (oral and written) / member of the baccalaureate jury. Head teacher, English department coordinator, TOEFL preparation workshop animator. Representing the French language and culture abroad as well as preparing students to become European citizens.

Freelance English teacher, in charge of teaching modules for adults in companies as part of their professional training.

Middle school English teacher, part of my duty was to teach special needs students.

Middle school English teacher, also in charge of a workshop (Chinese for beginners) and a few hours of French support.

Internship in order to validate the Teaching Certificate and become a civil-servant.

I was teaching the basics of French language and communication to a small group of workers for an Australian gold mining company in Mali.

I was recruited to translate the South African Embassy's website into French. I also translated all the necessary documents in relation to the building of the Embassy that was then being created.

Assisting the manager of the company's local branch (Ivory Coast), preparing and translating their communication with the head office (South Africa).

I was in charge of compiling and analysing documents in order to provide a report on the impact of joining the Highly Indebted Poor Countries Initiative for Ghana. As it was to be written in English, I was also in charge of translating the report into French.

I was there to assist the team in charge of the elaboration of the upcoming cultural programme at the Alliance, and was more particularly involved in the preparation of the hosting of a concert (communication and organisation).

Auditing and setting up tailor-made programmes for individuals, schools or companies. Teaching the curriculum, assessing it.

Deepening the study of the English language and English-speaking countries' culture, along with studying pedagogy in order to become a French state certified teacher (civil servant status).

Study of English and Chinese (Mandarin) for application to the field of international business (economy, law, marketing, accounting, translation, etc.)
