Manage a small team of local and remote developers charged with the further development of software solutions contributing towards the successful manufacture, test and audit of products in the Vaillant Group production environment. Additionally, identifying opportunities for enhancements in the area of assembly and test. Main Software: LabVIEW

Definition and authoring of software solutions that can manage and support the complete production and test environment within the Vaillant Group.

Employed to support technical issues that may arise in the production environment. Additionally identifying opportunities for improvements in reliability and output.

Responsible for the design, prototyping and test of new gas detection equipment from concept through to production. Including: - Electronics Design - Mechanical Design - Emebedded Software in C - PCB DEsign - User and Service Manual Authoring - Test strategy definition and design of test equipment

Initially employed to support the electronics laboratory in the assembly and wiring of prototype equipment for use in Nuclear and non-Nuclear systems. Including PCB Design, Electronics design, wiring and test. Later writing software specifications for external development houses.

Employed to assist in the assembly and wiring of chassis and panels of varying complexities.

Originally trained in several engineering disciplines and then selected to follow a career in the field of electronics.
