An award-winning writer, educator, psychologist & filmmaker of Native (Chiricahua Apache/Cherokee) and African American heritage. Their first career was in law enforcement, and they hold a Master’s in Indigenous/Native American Studies and a BSc in Psychology. Their research focuses include ASD, suicide prevention, and inter-generational historic trauma. In 2023, they were the winner of the Ma’iingan Scholarship Award winner as an early career psychologist for their gender expansive support work.

Contracted to remotely produce a 70-100 page report on a series of meetings relating to mental health care and suicide prevention, particularly in marginalized and minoritized groups such as Indigenous peoples.
