During my practice period I got the insight into the organization of different events and coordination of marketing activities of Koblenz town. In addition, I was assisting the City Managerin of Koblenz in different administrative tasks. I was also responsible for revising and correction of the English translation, as well as comparing the translation from German into English from the home page www.koblenz-touristik.de.

The main responsibilities: producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations, carrying out background research and presenting findings, taking dictations and minutes, organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments, arranging business trips and accommodation

Responsible for clearing the invoices of supplies, in coming/out coming calls, business correspondence with domestic and foreign customers, translation of different statements, dispatch notes and statistics from English into Latvian and vice versa

Responsible for translation of Decisions and Conventions of the European Union from English into Latvian,website up-date,customer service

Introduction to Translation Theory, Business Communication, Presentation Practice, Translation of Specialization Texts, Translation of Legal Texts, Academic Writing, Building Materials and building Units, Construction Economics, General Spanish, Basics of Russian, etc.
