In coordination with member organizations of the Fairtrade system develop the necessary mechanisms to ensure the availability of the data for internal and external audiences. These mechanisms include the technical tools and the governance structure for sharing the data. Have a complete overview of the collected data in the system and make sure that the data is cleansed and presented in its best possible shape. Compile and generate the final statistics of the Fairtrade system for external publications.

Responsible for the development, planning and execution of the projects in the product categories of flowers, oilseeds, cotton, herbs and spices and partially bananas. The responsibilities include budget management, management of relationships with different stakeholders in different countries, coordination of consultants, communication of the state and results of the projects to different interested bodies and stakeholders, collection of data (primary and secondary) to make comprehensive data analysis.

Conduct research related to topics of efficiency and productivity in the agricultural sector. Literature reviews and statistical analysis of large data sets. As a member of a PhD program, the activities also included attending advanced courses of the related topics. Prepare presentations for scientific events such as international conferences and research seminars. Develop material for submission to funding and grant agencies.

Coordination of Propalma’s (a Fedepalma subsidiary) projects, focused on the promotion of the oil palm industry in Colombia. Analysis of statistics, economic and financial information related to the oil palm industry. Verifying the administrative functions of the company such as checking and control of budgets, preparation for board of directors meetings and presentations. Coordination of consultancy activities of the company.

Responsible for the collection of the quota of cotton in Colombia, a sort of tax paid by cotton producers and used to encourage the development of the industry. Manage the statistics of production and commercialization of cotton in Colombia. Elaboration of studies. Support the department of accountancy and finance.
