Sourcing of suppliers, component introduction in project phase and supplier development of serial suppliers

Supplier Quality Management for plant Frankfurt in remote role - Component introduction & Serial production Main tasks: • Take part in sourcing of new components and suppliers for plant Frankfurt • Implementation of APQP process in the pre-production phase • Approval of PPAP processes as an outcome of supplier APQP, inspection and release of PPAP package • Handling complaints and changes (PCN) • Do supplier audits and assesment, supplier development • Perform process audits according to VDA 6.3.

• Manage new component introduction for new projects • Take part in sourcing of new suppliers for Continental • Perform supplier APQP and PPAP, achieve PSW • Contact person for quality problems for new supplied products until SOP, then hand the parts over to SQM Engineer SP • Perform Supplier Process Audit

• Managing of Quality Notifications and quality improvement actions at suppliers • Component introduction - APQP • Manage PPAP documentation of serial components • Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement programs after SOP of raw materials • Perform Supplier Process Audit • Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality costs (QRC) • Change management of serial components (PCN/PTN, ECR)

• Claim management - Internal, field, 0km, logistics: starting and handling quality complaints (using 8D Problem Solving) • Keeping contact with the suppliers • Analyse technical, technological, machine and quality problems. Make actions and proposals for solving the problems • Organize and coordinate sorting or rework activities by the supplier or by external company • Control incoming inspecton • Evaluate performance of suppliers • Weekly/monthly reporting from SAP

• Managing quality complaints related to supplied parts in case of quality problems • Open the complaints in SRM and report the status of the incidents to APU/production • Control the incoming inspection • Coordination of sorting • Managing the return material shipments • Collect and debit costs to the suppliers • Follow-up the annual first sample requalification • Manage first sample validation
