I designed and documented the check out process a user takes to purchase an item from the John Lewis mobile website. Designing around the complexities behind multiple delivery options (International & Local), multiple payment options, and products with varied delivery requirements. I was also involved in user testing the final process to make sure the user experience was optimised.

My responsibilities as UX Design Manager were to oversee the upgrade of the mobile UX strategy for Blazingchilli's mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP). I liaise onsite with various business units, assessing business needs, providing recommendations aligned to the Company’s mobile platform solution - while balancing the client needs and requests alongside internal resource management, milestones and ensuring the highest levels of End-User satisfaction at all times.

I started as one of the first 3 people within the IT team, flying to Adapt Courseware HQ in Rochester NY, brainstorming and gathering requirements directly from the CEO and then designing the wireframes and overall user experience. Once the wireframes and functional design documents were written I worked very closely with the development team to make sure all features were developed to specification.

I was contracted to design the front-end interface for a new fashion ecommerce demo site developed on the ATG platform. The site will be used to show potential clients what the platform is capable of doing, and how it works. The brief was to include all optional possibilities (E.g. All variety of payment options and all delivery options etc). I worked from home for the duration of the project and delivered on time and to budget.

I was contracted to Burberry through Capgemini working on the Digital Media Management system (DMM). I worked closely with the ecommerce and creative teams managing the asset management process. This included gathering requirements through face to face communication with the different user groups to improve the multi-tiered media asset production process. After feeding back the requirements to the development team, I carried out testing of the system before the go live.

My Duties at HSBC included gathering requirements for the mortgage application process. The process was broken up into 26 different functional requirements (FR). We would build interactive prototypes (Axure) for each of the FRs using existing requirements supplied to us, these would be presented to the stakeholders at weekly workshops. During these workshops, further requirements were noted and the wireframes amended for the following workshop. This process is known as Rapid Design & Visualisation (RDV).

I was contracted to Grand Union for a few weeks working on various UX projects for clients: Boots, E-ON, Harley Medical Group and Joop.

The majority of my time at Sky was spent working on complex ecommerce user journeys and corresponding wireframes for the online sales platform. The user journeys & wireframes would then be presented to the relevant stakeholders and once approved I would consult through the development stages till go live.

RM Ltd was involved in a joint venture to develop software. The purpose of the Authoring software is so that all future exams can be composed on a secure platform that also includes communication capabilities between the commissioner, task authors, editors and test constructors. It will also include dual author mode for paper and computer based exams which can be authored simultaneously. I created wireframes, user journeys and sitemaps. These were used to create and support the functional specification.

I worked in a team of two, in charge of user experience and planning. Taking the project from meeting the client through digital strategy, developing personas, user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and overseeing production. I worked on projects planning websites, microsites and newsletter campaigns for Cadbury, Electronic Arts, Edge, Mitchells & Butlers, P&O Cruises, T-Mobile, Virgin, Which?, Met Police.
