As an Operations Manager I forecast the upcoming workload an make sure we have sufficient resources. Management of external staff. Operations and quality are constantly monitored. Reporting to the next management level. For these tasks I work on a MS SQL Database and use BI tools like Power BI. Recently, Process Mining was introduced by me into the team.

During the work on my diploma thesis I could revert on my skills in genetics, developmental biology, mathematics and informatics. I designed and employed an evaluation method for software that address the problem of difference detection in noisy and biased large sequence data. The thesis was submitted with the title "Evaluation of ChIP-seq Analysis Programs".

Being a member of the webmasters team allowed me to experience the operational procedures in a large and international university hospital with a strong focus on research and patient care. I was employed in IT as well as in the corporate communication and marketing department, thus I could get a look at and understanding of the internal organization. Tasks ranged from simple content updates and maintenance to programming, while I worked closely with colleagues from my own and other departments.

DKM Germany was a company that imported used and new replacement or sports parts for japanese cars, especially youngtimers in Germany. It was innovative in terms of importing all parts directly from Japan and not from a branch in the USA while it was close to the domestic customers. Beyond that it could offer rare JDM (japanese domestic market) and out of production parts.
