• Discussed assigned duties with classroom professor in order to coordinate instructional efforts. Worked one on one with professor to design laboratory projects. • Prepared lesson materials and equipment for demonstrations, was available through office hours for tutoring and assisting on individual/small group basis. Classes included (4): Material Science I, II, Manufacturing Processes I, II.

• Metallurgical and chemical laboratory testing and analysis of complex phase, dual phase, retained austenite, as well as micro-alloyed, transformation induced plasticity steels and construction steels. • Diffractometer analysis of retained austenite volume fractions: Powderdiffractometer and Microdiffractometer analysis using ‘Topas (Bruker) and X’Pert High Score (Panalytical)’ softwares. • Further testing and analysis technique: X-ray diffraction, Magnetization, SEM, Light microscopy.

• Research and development in collaboration with various projects. Detailed observations, analyzed data, and interpreted results. Prepared technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analysis for the department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (material science laboratory). • Key aspects of this work can be summarized as: high level of responsibility, diligence, knowledge, and observation to detail.

• Worked under the Femtosecond Laser Physics Lab division and conducted testing and research on experimental laser setup. • Collaboratively designed a low temperature laser crystal stage and chamber. Designs included thermal and material considerations and were completed using SolidWorks.
