Management of 11 employees, human resource planning and hiring, ensuring team deliverables, team building and development. Budget responsibility. Strategic development and orientation of the synthesis department, staffing of R&D projects. Coordination and optimization of the laboratory organization and task distribution. Set-up and equipping of a laboratory for >15 employees. Leading task forces of 3-5 scientists and 6-11 technicians in order to quickly solve urgent technical issues.

Installation of structures for the organization of operational procedures within the synthesis department in order to enable further growing from ~20 to ~40 employees. Planning of a new research area with two synthesis and one sublimation laboratories.

Management of 3 employees, ensuring an efficient and result-oriented working within the team through installing of appropriate structures and processes Planning of multi-step syntheses and on-time delivery of material samples in highest purity fulfilling customer requirements. Examination and improvement of existing reaction sequences as well as bringing them from R&D stage closer to production. Active collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from R&D and product development.

Design and development of OLED materials with higher efficiencies and long lifetimes. Planning and conducting of efficient syntheses to realize (metal)organic target molecules of highest qualities. Analyzing of structure-property relationships. Co-determination of projects within the framework of different project management methods. Coordination of university collaborations. Research and evaluation of newest research findings, generation of IP. Guidance and supervision of laboratory technicians.
