In the research group of Prof. Dr. Britta Brügger, I analysed the interaction of proteins with lipids in membranes. By using different cell biological, biochemical and mass spectrometric methods, I identified specific interactions as well as functions of those protein-lipid interactions.

During my Master studies, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Biochemistry Center in the Group of Prof. Dr. Wieland & Dr. Brügger (now Prof. Brügger) and supported the improvement of different biochemical methods in special knock-out cell lines. These methods included Click-chemistry, immunoprecipitation of clicked protein-lipid-complexes and transfection of HeLa and MEF cell lines.

My education as chemical laboratory technician yielded profound knowledge in inorganic, organic chemistry, quality management and GLP. I was responsible for method validation, assaying different food samples (chemical, physic-chemical and enzymatic) and quality management.
