Purchasing Strategy Design and Execution for the Mechanical Parts Group, with Sheet Metal, Plastics, CNC, Tube Manufacturing, and Welding as core Production Processes. Design, execution, and continous improvement of department KPI's at both Operational and Strategic levels. Further Strategy definition and refinement based on KPI results and findings. Supporting role in Operational Activities related to Materials Planning and Materials Management, as well as Project Purchasing activities.

Responsible for coordination and negotiations with suppliers in the context of specific projects, from initial concept definition, to start of serial production. Responsible for the Prototype Supplier Base in our Ulm location, as well as the related price and delivery negotiations. Development and implementation of a system for the monitoring and administration of Supplier production capacities. Design and implementation of several tracking tools. Crisis management across diverse supplier situations.

Leading Purchasing role in diverse projects in the context of a global ERP unification. Definition of training topics and methodology in Supply Chain processes within the ERP, both internal and external. Participation in the definition of policiesand processes within the ERP rollout. Coordination and follow-up of purchasing efforts in the implementation of a global material receipt and traceability label. Pivot position in the coordination of America’s regional efforts with Asia and EMEA regions.

Responsible for the timely delivery of prototype parts in accordance to Program Management’s requirements throughout North America Analysis of Prototype Purchases spend. Implementation of Rebate program with main Prototype vendors with 150K USD/yr savings. Invoice follow up Team work with staff from client-facilities with the purpose of improving the process and information flow. Support in the quoting process of metal stampings, both prototype and mass production.

Raw Material Planner Buyer involved in a factory transfer project (USA – Mexico). Material planning and purchasing for both transferring and receiving facilities. MRP analysis, system parameter analysis and maintenance. Detection of necessities and opportunities for Transfer Project Monitoring process standardization. Use of system and Office tools to optimize department tasks. Root cause analysis, standardization and optimization for processes inherited from the US facility. Kanban development.

Optimal Inventory Level Maintenance, open order information maintenance in system. Invoicing Monitoring Material expediting or delay according to production requirements. Creation of support files / tools for varied purposes. Support to other areas in the acquisition of diverse information. Implementation of Vendor Managed Inventories (VMI’s) and Kanbans. 90% Issue Reduction in VMI related materials Credit Negotiation with carriers. ISO 9000:2001 and 5S Auditor.

Execution of performance reports in diverse operation areas. Supporting other areas in diverse activities. Quotations, event planning. Supporting I&E department. Implementation of an Excel based Index Tool for I&E Archive. 5S Auditor
