Architecture, implementation, testing, error tracking and fixing of software defined LTE transceiver on TI Keystone SOC (TMS320TCI6614, Appleton EVM). Implementation of physical layer features for LTE small cell eNodeB and user equipment (UE) using embedded C on multicore DSP platform. Performance improvement of DSP code for computation-intensive real-time applications, by using co-processors, C6000 family intrinsics, software pipelining, optimizing cache behavior, etc.

As a Research Engineer on LTE physical layer signal processing algorithms, accomplished the project "Advanced iterative receivers and interference suppression for MIMO-OFDM - Phase II", cooperated with DOCOMO Euro-Labs (Munich) and University of Kiel. Responsible for designing an adaptive iterative receiver for Docomo’s LTE eNodeB products, with an emphasis on developing channel estimation and interference cancellation algorithms, C and MATLAB/Simulink simulation, algorithm verification and integration.

As a Scientific Researcher in Information and Coding Theory Lab, accomplished 3 national (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) and 1 industry-funded projects (Huawei), supervised several Master/Diplom theses, published 7 academic papers and delivered 5 technical reports, designed, optimized and simulated various signal processing algorithms used in wireless communication/navigation systems (GSM, EDGE, UMTS, LTE, GPS) using C/C++/MATLAB.

worked in Digital Design team, implemented and tested the prototype of the digital mobile radio receiver on TI DSP TMS320VC5402. Research and simulation of demodulation algorithms using MATLAB. Implementation of FIR filter, 4-FSK demodulator and Viterbi decoder using embedded C on DSP platform. Code optimization using TI DSPLIB functions and look-up tables. Implementation of echo cancellation algorithm. Testing and debugging the DSP-based digital radio receiver in the real-time environment.
