Responsible for European customers of the EDFA product line, specifically for: Product Lifecycle Management, pricing management and cost reduction actions, achievement of corporate goals on direct margin. Co-responsible for sales forecasting together with the account managers. Responsible for managing customers’ interactions affecting/concerning the product line and its development, also playing an active role for all the related marketing & marketing communications.

Sole responsible for pre- and post-sale technical support to all Italian customers for all of Keithley’s products & applications. Sole account manager for a number of institutional customers in the Emilia Romagna region. Co-responsible for account planning and sales forecasting. In charge of all product demonstrations, organization of seminars/exhibitions in Italy, with a supervisory role for all marketing communications.

Technical/commercial interface for two main customers in Italy (Cisco Photonics & Marconi) participating in a global team on both accounts for customer relationship management, specification, qualification, and sales of components for optical telecommunication systems. Responsible for account planning, and sales forecasting.

Responsible for: Definition of the architecture of DWDM systems with particular emphasis on the Submarine Line Terminal Equipment (SLTE); specification, selection and qualification of passive and active optical components to be used in said systems; Specification, optical design, and supervision on the electrical design of optoelectronic boards to be developed for use in the SLTE.

DWDM Hardware Team, Optical Networks Division. Responsible for system architecture, design and implementation of optical and electrical backplanes, and dispersion compensation modules for C- and L-band DWDM systems.
