• Providing support to senior actuaries on a wide portfolio of trustee and corporate clients. Ongoing work includes preparation of triennial funding assessments and disclosures under FRS17, IFRS and US GAAP. • Managing the production and checking of actuarial work from junior colleagues prior to review from the scheme or consulting actuary. • Provide direct ad-hoc support and advice to trustee and corporate clients on changes to UK pension legislation and scheme-specific actuarial issues.

• Provided support to senior consultants on large UK corporate clients, including preparation of accounting disclosures and actuarial analysis for liability management exercises to reduce or mitigate pensions risk. • Managed junior colleagues to prepare reports for the consideration of in-house auditors on the appropriateness of draft pension disclosures. • Supported the in-house buy-in/buy-out team, meeting UK insurers to discuss pricing practices and upcoming bulk insurance exercises.

• Junior member of various trustee and corporate client teams, supporting senior colleagues in all aspects of ongoing and ad-hoc actuarial work. • Assisted with the roll-out of a software package to streamline and harmonise the calculation of individual cash equivalent transfer values, including delivering training to colleagues in our in-house administration teams.
