Managed Suppliers for New Part Introduction (PPAP) and acted as the conduit between supplier and assembly plant to resolve Quality Issues Assessed new supplier manufacturing facilities and conducted routine requalification of existing suppliers. Part of the team responsible for moving a production line (Seating) from Germany to Italy. Subsequently designated as the site-based SQE Leader to ensure the production line was producing seats to the required standard.

Restructured an ISO9001 Quality Management System to resolve issues raised during an external customer audit. This enabled the client to successfully bid for a £10m contract.

Initially joined the company as Quality Manager with responsibility for all aspects of the Quality Management System accredited to AS9100 (BS EN 9100), which incorporates ISO9001. After 3 months, the General Manager departed the company and I was asked to take over his responsibilities of running the company. I remained in charge of the Quality Management System In September 2022, we were recipients of an external audit by BSI, and were rewarded with ZERO nonconformities.

Post-COVID, I joined Wipac Technology where I was directly responsible for a team of Engineers tasked with ensuring product quality for 3x key customers (50% of the total customer base) Work also featured reporting to CEO / Director level on quality performance as well as designing and instigating improvements in the quality of the product and how it is manufactured.

Second assignment with this company. The assignment was to manage all SQA activities for the current production vehicle seat in order to allow others to be seconded to work on the next generation vehicle seat. Typical activities included PPAP Assessments; reviewing engineering changes relevant to suppliers; complaint response reviews and supplier assessment visits.

Working within EMEA Head Office to integrate the Quality Standards, Procedures and Systems (EMEA = Europe, Middle East and Asia)

Responsible for implementing ISO17025 into the Assurance Engineering (R&D) function, across 2x sites (Denmark & India)
