Over the last ten years in the U.K. I have been involved in multiple roles within Virtual World and MMO games development. My previous roles have included Tools Programmer, Website Administrator, Server Programmer, Lead Server Programmer and System Administrator. I am now currently based in Berlin.

I was responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrading of FreeBSD systems both for remotely hosting our game servers and game website. This included the software installation and configuration for PHP, Apache 2, MySQL, GIT and other software as needed for our development process and for our distributed game servers and customer facing website.

Within this role I integrated third party bulletin board software & content management systems into our customer websites coupled with our game server systems.

In this role I was responsible for the development of a web based content management system to handle the art flow and game object hierarchy for our first massively multiplayer game title, Roma Victor.
