Audacitas is my start-up company, founded to deliver the mxtools.aero platform.

Responsible for all aspects of the implementation of a company-wide portfolio management system including: software implementation; project, programme and portfolio process development and associated workflow; supported rollout and ownership by the Corporate PMO.

Caretaker programme manager until a permanent employee could be found. Reported directly to the CTO; in charge of IT PMO and a team of project managers (8-12). Responsible for the delivery of IT projects across the board, including budget and stakeholder management in a complex and challenging environment of significant change and technology refresh.

Advised and supported quintessence in responding to a high value Request for Information (RFI). Demonstrated and implemented a structured approach that responded to the potential customer's needs. Supported requirements analysis. Presentation of the response at the customer's premises.

Architected and ran a full market RFP for the selection of a database archival system.

Project coordination and reporting to stakeholders.

International rollout of IT aircraft maintenance system to airlines in the TUI Group. Led creation of group standards for data and process alignment. Business case management, airline project initiation and support. Creation of synergies and construction of a group competence centre concept.

Implementation of an IT aircraft maintenance system. Handled coordination between IT and business in a high pressure project that delivered on time; successfully managed a challenging training schedule; worked with steering committee as part of a broader cost-cutting programme.

Led multi-airline, international team in an extensive and successful RFP-based market appraisal for large-scale aircraft maintenance IT systems. Managed inter-airline relations in a difficult environment during a phase of merger consolidation and achieved a widely respected and supported decision.

Part of an international team performing an in-depth market appraisal of large-scale aircraft maintenance IT systems.

Design and construction of a new back-office system for on-board sales. Co-authored requirements document. Built and delivered enterprise-scale ORACLE database design. Drove development and facilitated difficult decisions where the timelines were lagging.

Fixed-price contract for application development: Property insurance management system powered by Internet/Web technology (LAMP); custom built; in three phases.

Project coordination, costing and budget management, team management and quality control. Major Projects: First electronic passenger check-in for a charter airline in Germany; technology sold to two further German airlines. Customisation and on-time roll-out of new point-of-sales terminals for the on-board sales system.

System design and programming; operating system and user support; hardware installation; service provider liaison and contract management. Major Projects: ACARS (air-ground messaging); technical lead for introducing EDI within company for automated invoice checking of aviation fuel bills.

Development of Unisys 1100/2200 host availability analysis tool for the quality assurance team. Quality control of fare data transfers. Some minor work on TIP fare transactions.

Part of a team of integrators for Lufthansa’s and Amadeus’ reservation systems. Analysis and coordination work; testing procedures.
