Deepa Patel

Currently working closely with the Marketing Managers as a freelance artworker, for busy medium sized companies based in and around London. I have both a strong role in artworking, retouching and preparing files for print and web as well as proactively marketing for the business through various means.

Operating as account holder and designer for key clients, my role involved working for a large organisation primarily dealing with batch printing orders, artworking and design of direct mail, leaflets, posters, POS, office stationary, advertising and marketing for small to medium sized companies. As well as management and successfully running the Printing.com Ealing branch, my responsibility were to devise and implement new sales initiatives.

My role in direct marketing and sales, reporting to the Group Managing Director of Cobra Group Utilities & Charity included duties such as; Gaining knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products/services. This included marketing strategy and tactics, and product demonstration. Exceeding company sales targets on a daily basis and dealing with customers on a personalized level ensuring I display great customer service at all times.

My role as a Junior Designer servicing the Sydney International airport and reporting to the Marketing and Promotions Manager involved working within a small team, marketing promotional material for various in store products. Producing the POS design layouts for all shelf-edge products and in store advertising campaigns, ensuring all monthly promotional catalogues were designed, printed and put together for distribution in stores.
