I am responsible for researching new assignments: research the industry, research the companies in the industry, research the individuals within the companies that would be a fit for our clients position and then contact those individuals to see if they are interested or if they might be able to refer me to someone that would be a fit. If the person is interested it is up to me to qualify them in a telephone interview, gather their information and present them as a candidate to the managing partner.
