In my PhD Thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Claus Laemmerzahl, I am working on theoretical aspects of relativistic (satellite) geodesy and gravimetry. I am concerned with the fundamental theoretical description of basic geodetic quantities such as the Earth's geoid and other reference surfaces. We develop a general relativistic definition and mathematical description of all involved notions and measurement procedures.
