Role encompassed full financial reporting & operations responsibility for a 450+ MUSD property-casualty CAT reinsurance portfolio.

Developed the controls implementation plan for Sarbanes Oxley Compliance at PRe Europe (Ireland), which comprises of an insurance company, a reinsurance company and a holding. Planned, supervised and executed audits for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Designated Lead Auditor for Spanish, Greek and Portuguese affiliates. Led full scope audits in Spain, Greece, Portugal and Belgium from planning, sourcing, execution to result presentation to executive management teams and the board (in English, Spanish and German). Evaluated underwriting profitability, analyzed investments, business risks, growth drivers, competition, and customer base to determine strategic fit of affiliates for the group going forward.

Led the annual audits of two large insurance carriers, Vereinte Holding and Allianz AGCS Insurance, Revenue (2008): 3.9B USD. Co-prepared IPO of Allianz SE at NYSE.

Study / work Program leading to Bachelor Degree sponsored by AON. Underwrote business in the following lines: marine, transport, technical insurance, industrial property and casualty. Responsibilities included analyzing cover requirements, processing tenders, negotiating terms and conditions and presenting results to clients.

Employer sponsored study / work program leading to "Associate in Insurance" designation awarded by the chamber of industry and commerce after successful public examination. Acquired detailed knowledge about non-life and life products through a rotation program.
