Engineering and Project Management Department - Matosinhos RefineryOnboarded in “Generation Galp” Trainee’s program, integrating the Project Management team in Matosinhos’ Refinery. Developing tender technical specifications and technical evaluation of bidder’s proposals. Follow up basic engineering development as well as construction.

Process optimization: Identifying and adjusting process variables for cost reduction while maintaining quality. Applying Taguchi Method for design of experiments. The performed study presented a 49 to 60% cost reduction with no increase in number of failures vs the standard process.

Study of the aminolysis of polycarbonate aiming the electroless plating of silver. Laboratorial testing: modification of the polycarbonate surface, measuring the electric conductivity and performing adhesion tests.
