Working as a lab manager/ research associate in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Kerstin Gari at the Institute of Molecular Cancer Research at the University of Zurich. In this capacity I assisted Prof. Dr. Gari in establishing the laboratory and managing it, while at the same time carrying out independent research projects. I was responsible in organizing and managing the lab, I introduced new lab members into their function and managed lab supplies as well as the finances.

HDL translocation was analysed in bovine microvascular endothelial cells and compared to bovine aortic endothelial cells. Laboratory work included cell culturing of primary bovine brain microvascular endothelial cells and primary bovine aortic endothelial cells, as well as conventional PCR and real time quantitative PCR, Western blot analysis and visualisation with immuno fluorescence microscopy. Furthermore cell binding and association was performed.
