Part of Axel Springers native advertising unit, heading the editorial & graphics team, working on projects for customers on quality news website WELT.de. Developing concepts an producing content for Aktion Mensch, Alfa Romeo, Bosch, BlackRock, Deutsche Bahn, DHL, Henkel, Microsoft, Porsche, Rolex, Samsung, Viessmann and many more.
Heading Weltn24’s native advertising unit. BrandStation offers advertising in form of compelling stories on welt.de and has worked for customers like Commerzbank, Philips, DHL, Aktion Mensch. The team (with a very strong journalistic background) does consulting, concepts, production (text, video, photo, infographic, animation), strategy, social media marketing – the whole nine yards.
Working in product development at WeltN24, dealing with new ideas, concepts, strategies and features with a distinct editorial perspective for Die Welt's and N24's new website. Site launched in december 2016 and went to record traffic numbers.

Worked for Axel Springer’s inhouse incubator AS Ideas from 2012 as Strategic Product Development Lead (Leiter Strategische Produktentwicklung). Developed new ideas for media ventures (concept, business planning, execution, day-to-day operations). Among the projects / products was award-winning news app KOMPAKT (basic idea, development, day-to-day operations as managing editor, development of editorial formats, development of native advertising for Ebay, Audi).

Berliner Morgenpost GmbH
Built up morgenpost.de for Berliner Morgenpost in 2006. Pushed morgenpost.de’s first experiments in data journalism (crime map for Berlin, election map for Berlin). Undertook novel approaches with user generated content (Twitter-reporter at Berlin Fashion Week), video and multimedia storytelliing ("Ich bin ein Berliner“, inspired by The New York Times’ „One in six million“) that won several awards. Website’s traffic went up from 1,095 million monthly visits in july 2006 to 6,052 million in july 2012.
Worked as managing editor business, finance and tech for welt.de. Responsible for day-to-day business, managing the online department's staff, working as liaison with the print department. Set uo workflows to closely work with the print edition’s business team in an environment that became one of europe's first integrated newsrooms.
Managed production of the daily's business section (content, layout), organised, assigned reporters, coordinated stories with the newspaper's other sections and page one, planned for special events.
Worked as a tech reporter for Die Welt’s business section. Did stories on and / or interviewed several german startups and their founders as well as - Ebay CEO Meg Whitman, - Intel CEO Paul Otellini, - Intel CEO Craig Barrett, - Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, - AMD CEO Hector Ruiz, - Dell Founder and CEO MIchael Dell, - Apple-Co-Founder Steve Wozniak, plus others. Later became Die Welt’s features editor for business and started „Seite 16“ („page sixteen“), Die Welt’s business feature format.
Worked as managing editor for Webwelt, Die Welt's weekly printed supplement for all things internet with a specific focus on internet economy. Was responsible for the day-to-day operations, managing freelancers, correspondents and Webwelt’s team of editors, content selection, design (together with Die Welt’s art director) and reporting on germany's startup scene and international tech companies.
