PROJECT: “Screening Of The Most Suitable Emollient On The Basis Of Sensory Effect and Cost For A Body Lotion”. OBJECTIVE: To optimize the cost of Body Lotions without impacting product performance. Key Roles: • Raw material screening • Benchmarking of FMCG products. • Formula Development of Cost Optimized body lotions. • Physico-chemical analysis and Sensory Profiling. • Introduction to objective measurement of moisturization.

PROJECT: Study of Global Cosmetic Regulations: Specific detailing w.r.t. Europe, U.S.A Japan vis-à-vis India. OBJECTIVE: To compare the regulatory guidelines of the Europe, U.S.A and Japan, the global niche player’s with Indian regulations so as to clarify and highlight the major differences and similarities of the regulations. Also, looking at the increase of the ‘AYUSH’ products in the Indian market this review throws light upon regulations of ‘AYUSH’ products as a ‘Special Category’.
