Backend developer of a major performance monitoring SaaS product. My tasks mainly specialized in the area of inter-component communication protocols, scheduled processes and web service security.

Member of the product's technical support & consulting team, where I've helped customers maintain and analyze the performance of their software infrastructure. Daily work included: * Linux & Windows based server management * Configuration of web servers and Java Messaging Services(JMS) * Analysis of application logs * Analysis of application inter-component communication traces

Worked on a major e-government project as a backend software engineer. Major challenges included: integration with other e-government services(authentication and sharing of personal data), bureaucratic process assistance and automation performance optimisation for high user load. Also worked in the R&D department on smaller projects: research and pilot projects for AngularJS adoption, employee productivity assistance, build automation and provided training on the use of the Mercurial SCM

Worked on a GPS traffic simulator, which had reproduced a car's journey across the map and simulated certain aspects of the environment(position of the sun, strength of wind, centrifugal force).

Covered topics include: User Experience research, systems simulation(Matlab), Machine Learning. For the Master's thesis I've researched the application of Machine Learning methods for change point detection in system's monitoring time series data

For the Bachelor's Thesis, I've designed and implemented the Bluetooth communication module and an Android App(for data payload debugging and pressure layout visualization proof-of-concept) for a Smart shoe-insole project
